The band members in Electric Prairie are sure to keep harmony in the family. Literally. They are husband, wife and daughter -- Paul Wenske, Nancy Meis and Alexis Burdick. Regular backup band members are among the most talented musicians in the Kansas City area. And lately, son, Chris, has been joining the band from time to time on cello. Featuring the kind of tight vocal harmonies only families can make, Electric Prairie has created a unique sound that’s grounded in roots, bluegrass, gospel and down home country -- call it SOUL-Grass. Electric Prairie’s shows weave together songs that are positive, playful and passionate.
